Caramelised onions


  • Onions
  • Sugar
  • Butter or coconut oil
  • Balsamic vinegar


  • Slice the onions
  • Heat a pan with butter or coconut oil
  • Fry the onions till slightly caramelized
  • Add a few spoons of sugar, let it melt.
  • Add a bit of balsamic vinegar.
  • Continue cooking for a few minutes until the liquid reduce till a slight sticky consistency.
