Roti
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 Table spoons oil
- Salt to taste
Method
- Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix it together
- Compress the flower mixture into a ball, take it out of the bowl and place it onto a floured worktop and knead the dough.
- Knead until you have a soft dough (the softer the better, don’t overwork it.)
- Break your ball of dough into small balls.
- Let it rest for 10 min
- Roll out each ball individually and cook in a pan on a high heat
Tip – roll them out really thin. You have a good roti if it puffs up while cooking.
